A POP3 mailbox is essentially a password protected area on our server in which stores a users incoming e-mails. POP3 mailboxes can be created and configured using the administrator control panel. Mailboxes are associated with a user and are automatically created when you create a new 'Community Member User Account'.

Creating A Mailbox by creating a new user
To create a mailbox for a member of your community click the 'Add User' icon on the Control panel shortcuts page. On the following screen enter the username for the mailbox, this is the part of the email address before the @ sign which should be no more than 20 characters long and may consist of lower case letters, numbers and '.' only. Enter the users full name in the second box. Enter a password (in the 3rd box) to be used to access this user account which should be between 5 and 20 characters long and may consist of letters and numbers only - confirm the password in the 4th box. Leave all the other settings as they are. Click 'ADD' to create this user account and mailbox on the system. - below is a screenshot of the page that you should be looking at.
